SONTEK IQ Series

The SonTek-IQ is a versatile flow and volume measurement solution designed for both artificial and natural channels, capturing reliable data in water depths as shallow as 8 cm (3 inches). Its five-beam pulsed Doppler design supports Modbus, SDI-12, RS232, and Analog outputs, allowing flexible integration across monitoring systems. The SonTek-IQ requires minimal installation effort, often with limited or no earthworks, providing high-quality data that supports accurate decision-making.

The self-contained device features SonTek’s proprietary flow algorithms tailored for diverse applications, including irrigation canals, natural streams, and pipes. Equipped with SonTek's SmartPulseHD adaptive sampling, the IQ offers dynamic profiling that adapts to varying conditions. A self-calibrating water level sensor uses both a vertical acoustic beam and pressure sensing for reliable measurements. Available in three models—Standard, Plus, and Pipe—the IQ series caters to different depth requirements, with the Plus and Pipe models handling up to 5 meters (16 feet) and advanced post-processing capabilities for deeper flow analysis. Each model includes IQ software, mounting hardware, cabling, and power supplies, ensuring a comprehensive setup right out of the box.
