SURFBEE Flow Seeker II

The Flow Seeker USV is a robust unmanned surface vessel designed to streamline SonTek M9 and RS5 ADCP data collection, focusing on performance and ease of use in challenging conditions. With a top speed of 4m/s, the Flow Seeker is built for manoeuvrability in fast-flowing waters. Controlled via the Surfbee App on a handheld transmitter, it offers advanced features such as onboard camera streaming, autonomous and stationary measurement options without requiring a tag line, and mission setup through the app for reliable data collection in both moving and stationary setups.

Lightweight at just 15 kg (including batteries) and featuring a rugged, inflatable hull, the Flow Seeker is portable and easy to deploy. It supports autonomous GPS-based gauging, allowing operators to focus on data rather than deployment logistics. The USV provides long-range (up to 1 km) dust- and spray-proof control, with added safety and functionality for enhanced data quality. For flexible workflows, it supports differential corrections and RTK GNSS, enabling precise positioning data sharing between the USV and ADCP. The Flow Seeker’s adaptable hull can be used with onboard GNSS for manual measurements or upgraded with thrusters for a fully autonomous experience, making it a versatile asset for field measurement teams.
